Morton's Neuroma

Morton's neuroma is caused by the tissue thickening around a nerve that leads to the toes. This typically happens in the area between your third and fourth toes. Morton's neuroma can occur in response to irritation, injury or pressure. This condition affects the ball of the foot and can be accompanied by burning pain or a sensation similar to stepping or standing on a foreign object like a rock or a twig.
